Zen Magazine’s cover for the month of December features an incredible
sportsman and humanitarian
,Nigerian Pro-Footballer Israel Idonije Sizzle whose passion for charity and community
service inspired him to start his foundation back in 2007 to give back
to underprivileged kids in North America and across Africa. Born in
Lagos, Nigeria back in the 80′s, Israel Idonije is a Nigerian-Canadian
defensive player for the Detroit Lions in the National Football League
(NFL) in America.

This month, we sit down with the sport star to talk
about what inspired him to start his foundation “The Israel Idonije
Foundation”, and how it feels to be playing for the Detroit Lions. “We
rarely see sportsmen on our covers so it is a great feeling to have
Israel Idonije grace our cover this month”; were the words of Arinze
Nwokolo, the editor of Zen Magazine.
