The winger will be out of action for two weeks following surgery on his
buttock, reports Sky Sports.
The Frenchman required the surgery on Thursday, Bayern Munich confirmed,
after a bruise pressed against a nerve causing serious discomfort.
The news will surely give great hope to Arsenal as they face Pep Guardiola’s
side in the first-leg of their last 16 tie next Wednesday.
The German club knocked the Gunners out at the same stage last season on
their way to winning the competition.

But the news will be a blow to Bayern, despite their enormous
strength-in-depth. It is not yet clear if the Ballon d’Or nominee will be

Before they face Bayern, however, Arsenal will play a home fixture against
